Janine Schlemmer: 

  • Born 1964 in Stuttgart
  • Granddaughter of Oskar Schlemmer
  • I grew up with the theatre atmosphere of my mother Karin, who worked as an actor at the Stuttgarter Staatstheater, where I often accompanied her; and my wonderful grandmother Tut, who dedicated and highly comitted herself to my grandfather's work, Oskar Schlemmer, who died far to early. My surroundings were characterized by the artistic works of my grandfather Oskar, Bauhaus furniture and a special family.
