atelier le balto

based in Berlin since 2001, atelier le balto is a landscape architecture studio founded by Véronique Faucheur & Marc Pouzol.
With their partner Marc Vatinel (Le Havre/ France), they design and create gardens and parks for many prominent art institutions and cultural centres such as the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum for Contemporary Art, Villa Romana in Florence and the Ludwig Forum for International Art in Aachen.
For each project, atelier le balto carefully considers patterns of plant development and human movement in space. atelier le balto creates places of encounter and exchange.
