Tools are a metaphor for making by yourself. What tools do designers use today? And what role do they play in the design revolution? The tools of the design revolution illustrate the role of design in shaping a future of solidarity. The industrial designer Marco Kellhammer presents practical tools that are a basis for design decisions and empower people to put knowledge of materials and production in the context of future development.

Marco Kellhammer is an industrial designer who lives and works in Munich. He was a research associate at the Institute of Design Research Vienna.
