Ages 8 – 14
With or without prior expertise, everyone can join the Open Workshop! In them, we will take the original Bauhaus members' passion for craft experiments of as our model to emulate and reinvent.
To the members of the Bauhaus a fundamental premise of any creative endeavor was movement. In the spirit of that idea, we will build drawing machines and robots, operated manually or by motor, and investigate the moving line. We will also explore a whole range of other techniques and materials: Together we will design posters and books, print and bind them ourselves – digital, analog, in color or monochrome. There's no limit to the possibilities!
Participants will learn from artists, designers and art educators.
