„moving & being moved“
6 – 8 Feb 2023, 9.30 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day
>> Registration required (booked out)
How about spending your school holidays in the UNESCO World Heritage Site? In the historic Bauhaus the sensory and tactile potentials of perception were treated as key questions of creative design. The human body itself acted as an experiential instrument and means of artistic expression.
With Jos Diegel as leader, the holiday workshop will experiment with analogue film footage and slides. Selected industrial and commercial films, film trailers and short films will be re-interpreted and composed into an individual film of one’s own. The films will be remounted using a film cutter and worked on with pencils, pens, brushes, paints, spatulas, scissors, adhesive images and Letraset typefaces. The new sequence of images generates new spaces, figures and also movements. Thus, in the time spent in the holiday workshop we shall see a short film taking shape that is creative, abstract unconventional.
For children and young people between the ages of 10 – 16 years.
Participation is only possible with a binding registration via the online form and pre-payment. Participation charge incl. lunch and material costs is 20 euros.
