The Bauhaus Dessau Foundation is a non-profit foundation under public law. It is sponsored by the State of Saxony-Anhalt, the Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the City of Dessau-Roßlau.
The supervisory authority of the Foundation is the State Chancellery of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.
Organs of the Foundation are the Foundation Council and the Scientific Advisory Board.
