Dr Florian Strob
Research Associate

Florian Strob has been a research associate at the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation since 2018. He has curated several exhibitions and published widely on modern and contemporary architecture and literature. He directed the Bauhaus Residency Programme from 2019 until 2022, as well as several international conferences.
Most recently, he initiated and directed the research project "Bauhaus Written Heritage," which for the first time systematically and critically addresses the textual legacy of the Bauhaus. He studied German literature and history at the University of Bonn, medieval and modern languages at the University of Oxford, where he obtained his PhD in 2013, as well as architecture at the Technical University of Berlin.
