The Bauhaus Dessau Foundation invites you to the opening of the exhibition Haus Gropius || Fictional: Sofia Dona, Mara Genschel and Andrea Acosta on Thursday, 08 July 2021 – 5 pm.

Over the past weeks and months, the artists Sofia Dona and Andrea Acosta as well as the writer Mara Genschel have dealt intensively with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Masters' Houses in Dessau, but also with various infrastructures. New, impressive works have emerged that bring the often hidden foundations of everyday life to light. In terms of content, they address everything from hunting and publishing to the stones with which the Masters' Houses were once built.

The works by Sofia Dona and Mara Genschel can be seen at Haus Gropius until 12 September 2021, the work by Andrea Acosta until 14 November 2021.

Admission is free. Due to protective measures to combat the Corona pandemic, participation in the exhibition opening is only possible for guests who have registered in advance.

We ask for registration by 7 July 2021 to: residenz@bauhaus-dessau.de
