We are renovating for the
Bauhaus Centenary!

In 2019 we will be celebrating the centenary of the founding of the Bauhaus. The original architecture plays a major role in the centenary programme. The Bauhaus Building, the Masters’ Houses and the Houses with Balcony Access are all UNESCO World Heritage sites. One of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation’s tasks is to preserve this material heritage of the Bauhaus, and this includes its restoration, upkeep and care.

Visitors should please note that for the duration of the construction work exterior views in particular may be affected.

By April 2019, right on time for the centenary of the founding of the Bauhaus, all the construction work will be finished and visitors will again have unobstructed views of all the Bauhaus buildings.
