After a long Covid-19 break, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation opens two exhibition projects in the context of the annual theme "Infrastructure" on Thursday, 24 June 2021.
Under the title The Bauhaus Curtain Wall: 1926, 1976, 2026 – Icon, Monument and Climate Change, experts discuss questions of architectural-historical evaluation and the construction challenges posed by climate change, among other things, on Sunday, 6 June – the UNESCO World Heritage Day 2021.
As a contribution to the initiative New European Bauhaus of the European Commission, this online forum of design education on 4 + 5 June 2021 is the starting point for a European initiative that develops building blocks for workshops of post-fossil, post-disciplinary design for schools, educational projects
and universities.
Dr Barbara Steiner will be the new director and CEO of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation on 1 September 2021.
