Alexandar Hadjiev

In his creative opus the Bulgarian musician Alexander Hadjiev combined the sound of the bassoon with media-based transformations. Hadjiev is fascinated by the exploration of the origin and transformation of sound. The bassoon, the mixer console, the loudspeaker: in this triangle of movement in which music can be perceptibly fine-tuned, he allowed his music to evolve. He accompanied the music visually and acoustically with a documentary film about young people who have left their native land.
