Špela Mastnak

Špela Mastnak (lives in Salzburg) is a percussionist who focuses on contemporary music. She has premiered a number of compositions written specifically for her. After completing her studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb alongside Ivana Bilić und Igor Lešnik, she went on to study under Peter Sadlo at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Špela has won several awards as a soloist and distinguished instrumentalist, performed at countless festivals in Europe, America and Asia and cooperated with many internationally renowned musicians and ensembles.
Špela Mastnak’s residency was a Shared Residency with the Kurt-Weill-West Dessau.
