Accessibility

The Bauhaus Dessau is accessible to everyone. But the dictates of heritage conservation mean that the historic Bauhaus Buildings, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996, are less accessible than 21st century buildings. Our visitor service will be happy to provide you with the full details and to help you plan your visit.

Contact our visitor service by e-mail at besuch@bauhaus-dessau.de or by phone +49-340-6508-251.

Historic Bauhaus Building

Barrier-free access
The visitor centre at the Bauhaus Dessau is situated on the mezzanine floor of the Bauhaus Building and can only be reached via the main entrance by stairs without railings. Persons with limited mobility are requested to use the entrance at the rear of the building, which leads to the souterrain.
