Space for Sound – New Music at the Bauhaus Museum Dessau

Music was and is a fixture at the Bauhaus. Although it was not officially part of the curriculum, it played an influential role at the historic Bauhaus. While the Bauhaus Band was the poster child, the Bauhaus parties, the private musical evenings shared by masters and students and the chamber music nights with avant-garde composers of the day should not be overlooked. In cooperation with Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, these lines of tradition will be taken up and given a dynamic voice.
