staging the bauhaus 2023

Every year in early December, the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau and the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation host a programme with a focus on modernity and modernism. In the process, the Bauhaus Stage (as part of the festive area) and other rooms in the Bauhaus Building become venues for contemporary and experimental productions and set-ups. In 2023, staging the bauhaus will address the topic “Movement” through music and dance. This cooperation commemorates the inauguration of the Bauhaus on 4 December 1926.
