Opening and Symposium:
Bauhaus Lab 2021 – Vegetation under Power

// Opening
Thu, 9. Dez 2021, 6 pm
Bauhaus Building, workshop wing
>> Registration required

The Bauhaus Dessau Foundation invites you to the opening of the exhibition "Vegetation under power – Heat, Breath, Growth" on Thursday, 9 December 2021, 6 pm.

With the help of archival documents, interventions and field studies, the international participants will relate the history of the Bauhaus to the industrialisation of central Germany and the environmental changes that accompanied it. The dynamic interplay of the research raises questions about how we maintain and preserve landscapes that are seemingly irretrievably lost. What does it mean to care for post-industrial landscapes? And how can we promote the renaturation of our environment today?

Due to the Corona pandemic, registration is required. The 2G rule applies: Admission can only be granted with proof of vaccination or recovery.  Admission to the event is free. The exhibition will be on view in the workshop wing until 20 February 2022.
